To all our friends ~ We are asking for prayers for the country of Haiti, now more than ever. Since we brought our last team there in January, 2018, there has been increasing political unrest. We have had to cancel further teams and have been waiting for some stability before bringing any more. For the past 7-8 weeks, the unrest has escalated causing difficulty to access fuel, food, and water; and forcing roads, schools, businesses and hospitals to close. We will be posting updates as often as we can. We ask you ~ PLEASE PRAY FOR HAITI!!
We have ~ health teams, college teams, teen teams, adult teams, building teams and mountain teams.
We, at Hands for Haiti, believe that God has a purpose for everyone of us and that we are all part of His family. We encourage others to reach out beyond their normal lifestyles to serve others unconditionally as Christ served us when He walked among His friends. We provide service-based mission experiences to join along with opportunities to support other programs in the Artibonite Valley area in central Haiti.
We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are underserved. Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction protects, food aid, clean water awareness, and educational opportunities. We firmly believe in the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the gospel at all times, use words if necessary." We come alongside them to support them and build relationships with them… and to enjoy the fruits of God’s love in each other!

Haiti is hampered by some of the world's worst health indicators. Especially in rural areas, there is no available health care for them.
